Terms & Conditions
K9 & Equine Services, LLC

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of services provided by K9 & Equine Services, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") including dog boarding, training, and related services. By booking a service or leaving your animal in our care, you ("Client" or "you") agree to be legally bound by the terms below.
1. Eligibility and Representations
By using our services, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old and legally authorized to enter into this Agreement.

You are the legal owner or authorized guardian of the dog(s) being enrolled in services.

All information you provide is complete and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
2. Health and Vaccination Requirements
All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations:

Rabies
-
Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)
-
Bordetella (kennel cough)
Proof of vaccination is required prior to the start of services. Dogs showing signs of contagious illness (e.g., coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, external parasites) may be refused service.
Clients affirm that their dog is:

Free of communicable diseases
-
Not aggressive toward people or animals unless disclosed

In generally good health or under ongoing veterinary care
3. Services Provided
We offer the following services:

Dog boarding (kennel)
-
Tailored training
-
Behavioral consultations
-
Day training and enrichment sessions

Bath/nail/cleanup
All services are subject to availability and suitability for the dog based on temperament, health, and behavior. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for safety or welfare reasons.
4. Fees, Payments, and Cancellations

Full payment is due at or before the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellation and refund terms are outlined in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

A non-refundable deposit may be required for training packages or long-term boarding reservations.
Late payments may incur fees or result in service suspension.
5. Behavior and Liability
We take all reasonable precautions to provide a safe environment. However:

You understand that participation in group activities, training, and boarding involves inherent risks.

You agree that K9 & Equine Services, LLC is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or death of your dog unless directly caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Owners are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dog to other animals, staff, or property.
6. Emergency Medical Care
In the event of a medical emergency:

We will make reasonable efforts to contact you and your listed veterinarian.

If we cannot reach you, we will act in the best interest of your dog and may seek emergency veterinary care at your expense.

You authorize us to transport and authorize treatment if needed.
7. Media Release
Unless you request in writing otherwise, you grant K9 & Equine Services, LLC the right to take and use photos or videos of your dog for promotional, training, or educational purposes.
8. Personal Items
We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items brought with your dog (e.g., beds, toys, leashes). Please label all belongings.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate services at our sole discretion, including for:

Aggressive or dangerous behavior

Repeated cancellations or no-shows
-
Failure to follow our policies
Any prepaid services may be refunded in accordance with our refund policy.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the services are rendered (Nebraska or Iowa, as applicable). Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in that state.
11. Updates and Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
